Hi I am Britney the creator of Kemrie's Closet. I am a Stay at Home mama to 4 kids. Kemrie my oldest daughter has been my inspiration for Kemrie's Closet. Ever since she was a baby I loved dressing her from head to toe. She always had the cutest bows and outfits on! My mom would always laugh at me saying "she is the best dressed person she has met." Getting Kemrie dressed was the high light of my day I absolutely loved it! I wanted everyone to be able to experience the same joy that I had every morning waking up and being able to get my daughter ready for the day. Some of my favorite outfits that she had were orders from other small businesses. I loved the idea of being able to create an outfit that you couldn't just buy at the store. I wanted to be able to offer outfits that were custom, something that I knew would stand out! I mentioned this idea to my husband and he was very supportive. From that point forward I started literally from the ground up I got a cricut and started making bows and onesies. I inherited one of my grandmas old sewing machine and slowly taught myself to sew. It was crazy to me how natural it came to me. My very first pair of bummies needed some work but they had so much potential. I eventually started taking orders! I got a decent sized order and in the middle of it my sewing machine broke. I took it in to be repaired and there was nothing they could do since it was so old. It was at that point I bought a new sewing machine then a serger which was a game changer. I eventually participated in my first local festival and fell in love with Kemrie's Closet all over again.
